What's Happening at the Shelter
 Opening in 2011 ! On Feb. 11, 2010, City officials broke ground on the new Denver Animal Shelter.
Soon to be located at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave. along the I-25 corridor adjacent to the Platte River, the new shelter site offers better visibility, a larger lot and better access off the Platte River trail. More information....
Animal Care & Control is dedicated to:

Providing humane animal care at the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter.

Reuniting lost pets with their owners and finding adoptable pets new homes.
