Welcome to Denver
Welcome to the Office of Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper

Denver is an energetic city that offers urban adventure and abundant outdoor activities. With numerous distinctive neighborhoods, including a vibrant downtown and historic district, Denver offers an array of exciting and unique experiences. Located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, the city provides breathtaking views and basks in 300+ days of sunshine annually.

The Mile High City invites you to sample from world class attractions, a thriving arts and cultural scene, exciting nightlife, top quality restaurants and great shopping. Denver is also one of only two cities in America with eight professional sports teams. And there’s plenty of city to explore! The seven-county Denver metro area encompasses 4,351 square miles – almost the size of Connecticut. It’s also home to the largest city park system in the nation and the second largest performing arts complex.

From here, you can access information about various city services, initiatives and the people who serve the City and County of Denver.
